6th Annual Small Works Show
What is the small works show?
We are pleased to announce our 6th Annual Small Works Show, a holiday tradition at Cassens Fine Art. This winter exhibition will feature a wide range of small-scale works from artists near and far. Accepted pieces will be on view in the gallery throughout December 2025 and January 2026, a season when our community is gathering, gifting, and celebrating together. Whether it is an endless western landscape or a simple moment of daily life, the show celebrates how much meaning can be held in a smaller format. This exhibition has also become a favorite holiday tradition for collectors, offering them the chance to take home or share original works of art during the season. Submissions are open to all artists. Juried selections will be announced in October.
artwork details
Collectors are drawn to the accessibility of smaller pieces, often purchasing them as gifts or to add warmth to their own homes during the season. Because of this, buyers may take works home immediately or request early delivery before the close of the exhibition. If a piece sells during the opening reception, artists may provide another work so the show remains full and lively throughout December and January.
artwork Requirements
All submitted work must be original in both concept and execution, and created within the past three years. Pieces painted from reference photographs should be based on the artist’s own images, and entries must not infringe on any copyrights.
