2026 National Juried salon

Cassens Fine Art presents the 2026 Oil Painters of America National Salon, a juried exhibition of over 180 oil paintings by Master Signature, Signature, and Associate members selected from across North America. The show travels each year to a small number of galleries following OPA's annual national convention, and this summer it comes to Hamilton. The paintings span the full range of what representational oil painting looks like today: Western landscape, wildlife, figurative work, still life, plein air, and more. Every piece is for sale. 

Awards totaling approximately $30,000 in cash and merchandise are presented at the opening reception by Juror of Awards James Crandall OPAM.

Celebrate with us at the opening reception on Friday, July 31, from 5 to 7 PM. Awards at 5:30 PM.

Submission Details

April 1 - June 12, 2026

Submissions are open to Student Associate, Associate, and Signature members of OPA. Entries are accepted April 1 through June 12, 2026. Acceptance notifications go out June 26, 2026. Before submitting, review the full Show Rules and 2026 National Salon Prospectus. Eligible artists are citizens and most non-resident aliens living on the continent of North America who hold an active OPA membership.
